• To manage tournaments, verify player eligibility, and create brackets.
• To contact you with important updates regarding events you have registered for.
• To maintain your wallet balance and transaction history for tournament entry fees.
• To investigate and enforce our rules against cheating, harassment, or any unsportsmanlike conduct.

3. Data Protection

• All personal data is securely stored in our Firebase Firestore database.
• We implement strict security rules to ensure your data is only accessible to you and authorized administrators.
• We will never share your personal details with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

4. Third-Party Services

• We use Firebase (a Google service) for authentication and database management. Google’s privacy policies may also apply to the data they handle.

5. Refund Policy

• All tournament entry fees are paid using on-site coins. All refunds will be processed in the form of these coins back to your user wallet.
• Tournament Cancellation: If Variant Esports cancels a tournament, all registered participants will receive a full refund of the entry fee (coins).
• Disqualification: No refunds will be issued to players or teams who are disqualified for violating our rules, including cheating, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

6. User Conduct

• By using our platform, you agree to compete fairly and respectfully.
• Any form of cheating, including the use of third-party software, hacking, or exploiting bugs, is strictly prohibited.
• Harassment, hate speech, or any form of abuse towards other players or staff will not be tolerated.
• Violation of these rules may result in immediate disqualification without a refund, forfeiture of any prizes, and potential suspension or termination of your account.

7. Changes to this Policy

• We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. We will notify our users of any significant changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our platform after such changes constitutes your consent to the new policy.
